Introducing Osteopathic Technique Instructional Videos

These set of instructional videos have been produced in order to provide a visual and audible description of Osteopathic Minimal (short) Lever Mid Range Manipulation Techniques for osteopaths, physiotherapists, manual therapists, at mid to senior student level, graduates and post graduates. Techniques demonstrated look at the basic spinal regions, the spinal junctions, the sacro-iliac joints, ribs and the lower and upper extremity joints.

The techniques are described in clear, concise and easy English. Each technique’s basic parts are broken down and built up with explanation and justification for each movement building the technique into the finished sequence of movements.

Ideas and suggestions are given for each joint and additional points are highlighted where necessary for the more difficult joints, complex techniques and some patient morphological variations and clinical presentations. .

Osteopathic Technique Instructional Videos will help therapists to repeat and relearn techniques they have seen and used previously and show some new techniques not previously seen, focusing on minimal (short) lever ideas which provide safer, accurate and more controlled manipulation skills.

Therapists will be able to pick what they want to watch, listen to, repeatedly if necessary whilst then being able to copy the techniques themselves learning and remembering as they go.

The Osteopathic Technique Instructional Videos will complement previous courses of the same approach, jogging practitioners memories and allow people who have not experienced minimal (short) lever mid range techniques before, to get a clear and good idea, making them strive to want to achieve more optimum manipulation techniques for the safety and greater benefit of their patients and practices.

The Osteopathic Technique Instructional Videos are optimised to work across all platforms. Picture and sound quality are very high and they are easily used with simple menus for regions and parts of the spine, pelvis, ribs and peripheral joints. The total length of all the instructional material is in excess of 7 hours.
